About Sophie Killip
Hello, my name is Sophie and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling. I'm currently offering online counselling for individuals and groups via a secure platform, and will be offering face to face counselling in Whistler in the new year. I have experience working with adults and teenagers who are dealing with a range of mental health concerns including eating disorders, body image issues, low self-esteem and self-worth, anxiety and depression. In addition to private counselling, I have worked at private and government funded eating disorder treatment facilities.
My approach to counselling is integrative, through adopting a person-centred style and utilising various techniques depending on your individual needs and personal circumstances. As the expert of your own life, I would support you in identifying your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and understand how they are affecting your day to day experiences.
If you are interested in working with me and would like a confidential and non-judgmental space to talk, explore your concerns and develop self-awareness then please contact me to schedule an initial appointment through the form or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I also offer free 15 minute consultations if you would like to discuss whether working together would be an appropriate fit.
