About Liliana Hernandez
Liliana Hernandez is a passionate therapist with a diverse and culturally rich history. She is originally from Venezuela, lived in France and completed her advanced education in the United States. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Houston and a Masters in Education in Clinical and School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. She has more than 9 years of experience in the educational environment, a certification in school counseling and is currently licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been working in the clinical area since 2015.
Her holistic practice focuses on providing nonjudgmental support, encouragement and the tools to achieve to move towards a more peaceful and satisfying life. She has a client-centered, altruistic approach that allows her to communicate deeply with others in a genuine way.
Liliana loves working with people who face various challenges, such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and obstacles in relationships. She is passionate about working with teenagers and young adults, women, the LGBTQ + community and immigrants. This comes from an innate trait to help those who are so accustomed to being judged and stigmatized.
By creating a space of protection, her clients can truly be themselves, be open and honest about their struggles. Her objective is to give people a sense of belonging by feeling known and seen.
