About Jamie Silvers
I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in Families & Children. Prior to my embarkment in the mental health field, I worked as a manager in the music industry for 8+ years, managing singer/songwriters and rock bands. Music has always been an ENORMOUS passion of mine, as I find music beyond therapeutic in everyday practice, healing and life.
My experience and interest includes working with adolescents and adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, transitional life issues, self-esteem, relationship issues, and grief & loss. For a few years I worked as a Foster Care & Adoptions Social Worker, helping individuals and couples who want to foster and/or adopt children, including conducting their training, home study, certification and matching with available children. For the last few years I have also proudly volunteered at Comfort Zone Camp, a non-profit bereavement camp for kids 7-17 who lost a parent or sibling.
This is an opportunity for us to work TOGETHER to discover who you are, and learn your potential. I want to help create a safe space where not only do you feel supported, but you achieve whatever goals we set for you.
