MY TREATMENT FOCUS
I specialize in the treatment of Depression through psychotherapy. Through our work together, you can learn how to use inner strengths to lead a more balanced life.
Have you experienced hopelessness, a lack of enjoyment in life's activities, low energy, or sadness over a period of time? Do you want to feel better and get out of your funk? Depression can look very different depending on your situation. For example, depression in a mid-life man is different from depression in a recent college grad, or from a new mom who has to balance home and family. And what exactly YOU feel can vary from day to day. But regardless of your circumstances, you are not alone and I am here to help.
Depression can be caused by a variety of life circumstances such as:
Trauma (ex., abuse, early childhood experiences, car accident, etc.)
Grief over the loss of a friend or relative
Adolescence or early adulthood transitions
Post-partum or parenting struggles
I conduct sessions using a secure, online therapy platform, which is convenient and effective. If you prefer to meet in person, I do have a limited number of in-person appointments available at my office in Tualatin, Oregon.
Psychotherapy may seem overwhelming or intimidating, but I will be right by your side and help you feel comfortable in the process.
