About Naphtali Roberts
Adjusting to someplace that isn’t where you call home can be a challenge. This can be especially true for children and teens. You may find your child is struggling, or your normally calm family routines are disrupted. Being away from home for an extended period, you may not be sure where to turn.
If you’re not overseas, but living in a remote area, or in a place where counseling services are not readily available, your situation might be equally as frustrating. You may find yourself standing by feeling helpless as your child or teen struggles, or your family deals with ongoing conflict.
Just like every counselor, my intention is to help you help your child, your family and yourself. What makes my approach unique is what I bring to my work. I've found a sense of playfulness fosters the kind of relationship with children and teens helps get them headed back in the right direction. In the same way, creating authentic connection with the adults I work with can help them find a new perspective. Each side of this approach blends together to help nurture better communication and help your family regain balance.
