About Tara Farley
Start the journey to healing and self-discovery! I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People and Empaths, working through grief, anxiety, depression and trauma. I hold a Masters in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling and I am currently a Registered LPC Intern with the state of Oregon, as well as a National Certified Counselor, supervised by Elizabeth Trautwein, LPC (503-890-2280).I help clients heal past wounds and gain new insight. My work is client-centered with a special focus on helping, you find purpose, healing from grief and trauma, reconnecting with your body and reducing overwhelm. I believe in a healing and collaborative relationship by providing unconditional acceptance, empathy, understanding, and promoting trust. I believe that you are the expert on your life and respect your ability to choose your path with the support of the counseling relationship. I will provide a safe and comfortable space for you to explore and progress at your own pace and utilize therapeutic techniques that fit with your individual needs. I blend creative, expressive arts, traditional, spiritual and animal-assisted therapies to help you find insight, empowerment, growth and healing. I do not focus on diagnosing, I believe in healing the whole self through the safety and connection of the therapeutic relationship.
