Andrej Todorovic, Master of Clinical Psychology
About Andrej Todorovic
In working with people I aim to help them to learn how to understand and integrate unacceptable and unknown part of their personality. During psychological work, I use non-directive approach, where the client has complete freedom to express his fantasies, thoughts, emotions and dreams. The main goal is to get acquainted with psychological processes through a therapeutic relationship, in order to understand how those processes affect person's everyday functioning. Those knowledges facilitate potential for change in all aspects of life.
Through the years I have worked on several UNICEF and UNHCR projects which were focused on providing psychological support to vulnerable and marginalized groups. Currently, I provide psychological support to refugees and asylum seekers. I consider that reconciliation of traumatic experiences is a way to the better and healthier life.i hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Belgrade and I received my graduate practical training at the Psychiatric Hospital in Belgrade.
