Sean Fenton, LCSW
Mr. Fenton has over two decades of experience as a licensed social work clinician, social work educator, and administrator. He is a graduate of the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and holds a professional management certificate from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. Mr. Fenton also holds a PREP (prevention and relationship enhancement program) certification in relationship counseling. Mr. Fenton is clinically skilled in structural family therapy, relationship counseling , and individual counseling. His previous professional positions include: in- patient adult psychiatric settings ; residential settings for children and adolescents, and out- patient mental health settings serving multiple patient populations.
Mr. Fenton is noted for creating innovative programming for couples learning how to talk about difficult issues utilizing a psycho-educational approach to conflict resolution. He also developed a therapeutic practice with members of the LGBTQ community helping them embrace their identity. Mr. Fenton's philosophical approach to wellness includes helping individuals, couples and families heal, find balance, and tap into their inner strengths. Each patient receives a customized treatment plan.
