About Deah Partak
I offer Internet-based Video-conferencing Therapy to help fit counseling into your life. Often we know counselling can help, but there can be many barriers: work, travel time, local counselors booked up, childcare, and the list goes on. My goal is to help you live life on both your and life's terms. I provide Solutions-focused therapy through Strengths-based, Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Mindfulness, and Motivational interventions. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the state of Oregon.
In session we can explore the here-and-now, examine thought patterns, develop self care plan, or even use humor to embrace life and yourself. In session we will focus on using your strengths and values to tackle depression, anxiety, loss, life transition, work-life balance, or self-esteem.
I have a special interest in "helping the helper." Whether you are a, counselor, social worker, parent, advocate, spouse, vet, or police officer, you also deserve care and compassion. I can assist you in caring for yourself while caring for others.
