Diane Hediger, PhD
About Diane Hediger
Welcome. I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have been providing therapy for over 25 years in various settings including hospitals, community mental health agencies, and schools. In 2006, I started a private practice and have been conducting online sessions for the past 6 years. I provide individual, family, and couples therapy to adults, adolescents, and children. I utilize an integrative treatment approach that incorporates a variety of treatment strategies adapted to the needs of each individual. Modalities may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems theory, rational emotive behavior therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, as well as psychosocial education and parent counseling and support.
In therapy, I provide a safe and nurturing environment to explore emotional and challenging issues. I work collaboratively with clients by offering supportive guidance to gain insight, awareness, and understanding. It is through this therapeutic relationship that clients are able to work through difficulties, overcome barriers, and resolve problems leading to increased self-acceptance, personal growth, and well-being.
I know that it can be difficult to reach out and seek help but you have taken a positive step in the right direction. One of the best predictors of success in therapy is a good, trusting relationship with a therapist. I look forward to meeting and working together with you.
NOTE: I offer a free 15-minute consultation and I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
