About Nityda Gessel
Plagued by thoughts of inadequacy, feeling like a foreigner in your own body, struggling with intimacy and feeling like love will never come- if you find it challenging to get past the past, there is good reason. Memories associated with unpleasant experiences stick to our unconscious selves. These memories get stored in more than just our minds, they become embedded in our nervous system and somatically, in our physical bodies. To move through trauma and an unsettling past, both the body and mind must be addressed.
I help women who, due to a history of trauma (whether big or small), struggle to cultivate meaningful and fulfilling relationships and feel a sense of purpose and direction in life. I empower women as they learn to listen to themselves, trust themselves, and develop radically satisfying relationships.
I take a mind-body approach to psychotherapy, because as a yoga and meditation teacher of 11 years, I know that what the mind forgets the body remembers and the body must be addressed to fully alleviate the mind of suffering.
You may feel somewhat disconnected from yourself right now, but deep down there is an intuitive wisdom within you that truly knows exactly what you need to move forward. With a compassionate heart and a non-judgmental mind, I will help you tap into that innate healing wisdom. I urge you to wait no longer to start living. Call today to jumpstart a journey toward lasting happiness and peace.
