About Christine Brendle

I received my Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University in Clinical Psychology. Before beginning my professional training, I worked with foster care children in France and conducted cultural training for families moving abroad. I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and spending time outside with my family.

I specialize in therapy with children, adolescents, and parents via a telehealth platform. I am experienced in treating behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, and family conflict. I work with many clients diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). I strongly emphasize empirically-based therapy strategies. Several of these include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Behavioral Management Training (PBMT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I develop treatment plans collaboratively with clients according to their specific needs. When working with children, I believe that parents play a critical role in therapy, and they will always be involved in treatment goals and planning.

Additionally, I specialize in in-person psychological evaluations for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Disorders, anxiety, depression, and other mood symptoms. I focus primarily on the evaluation of school-age children, teenagers, and young adults. I have experience working collaboratively with schools, therapists, psychiatrists, tutors, and other professionals to provide recommendations and accommodations to support each client appropriately. I strive to customize my approach to best meet the needs of my individual clients.
