About Glenn Nicholls

Psychotherapeutic work is relational and so it requires a genuine personal engagement. The challenge is having conversations that break us out of ourselves, our stories, dramas and fear. Psychotherapy is about seeing a new way of relating to ourselves and others, to life and to the world. I’ve been a psychotherapist for over twenty years, mostly in private practice. I offer couple counselling, supervision, training, group therapy, executive and leadership coaching, and organisational development consultancy. I trained as an integrative psychotherapist at The Whittington Hospital (NHS Trust) in London. Part of my training involved working with out-patients with complex mental health issues. Since I have a background in education I also train therapists. I'm currently Lead Tutor (since 2011) for the 'Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups' at The Grove Practice, London where I train therapists and coaches to become supervisors. I was also a tutor for four years on the Certificate in 'Psychodynamic Counselling' at the University of Cambridge. My first degree I studied Theology at Westminster College, Oxford and then trained as a teacher at Hughes Hall College, Cambridge.
