Galina Thomas, MS LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been helping people for more than 12 years. I also bring with me more 30 years of personal growth and development. During those 30 years I have explored and experienced many different approaches and schools-of-thought and learned a lot along the way. Mainly about those things that are universal to most human beings. We all have much in common, probably more than we realize. And that knowledge helps me to be understanding, non-judgemental, compassionate and effective. I love what I do and I love working with people. I love watching people grow and reach for their dreams – especially when their dreams come true. This is what makes my heart sing! I love working with couples and families because family is where it all starts. And when couples and families do well – everybody else around them does well too. I use an integrative and holistic approach, treating “the whole person.” A lot of what I do is influenced by a systemic vision, by an understanding that we are social beings and are deeply affected by our connections and bonding with other humans. I draw on the knowledge and experience of various therapeutic modalities and constantly integrate modern research findings into my work.
