Jon Waller, LMHC
About Jon Waller
Life has it’s challenges. It can sometimes be weird, confusing, or disappointing. You find yourself lacking in motivation or stifled with self-doubt, thus not "going for it." I have extensive experience in helping individuals overcome depression and anxiety and increase their self-confidence so that they feel more positive about their life and what they have to offer to the world. I can help you improve your communication and connection in relationships, feel empowered and fulfilled in your work life, and set healthy boundaries to limit the impact of the negativity in your life. I believe everyone is worthy of a fulfilling life.
Online counseling available so you shift from "Flight or Fight" response of anxiety to feeling like a beacon of calm. I will work collaboratively with you, as I believe self-empowerment is an important tool to feeling confident and capable in life.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida with over 15 years of experience in emotional and behavioral health. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University.
I have extensive experience working with addictions and mental health in treatment settings, supervising therapists and clinical teams. I am active in contributing to my community through assisting at Evolve personal growth seminars, running support groups for Gilda’s Club, and volunteering with the Faulk Center for Counseling to train upcoming therapists.
