Jenn Matheson, PhD, LMFT
About Jenn Matheson
Are you or your loved ones looking for a therapist or counselor to help you achieve your goals in a warm, collaborative way? I can help. I specialize in individual, couple, and family therapy for those who are struggling with life transitions, mood disorders, grief, trauma, and many other mental health and relationship issues. Medical trauma and chronic illness are also specialties of mine.
No matter the issue, I am collaborative and approach all clients individually, creating treatment plans for you and your specific issues. I am systemic, which means I take into account the impact of others around you and the larger systems in which you live such as your community, schools, work, and other systems that impact your life.
My work tends to be brief, but I also enjoy working with issues that are chronic and complex, possibly needing longer-term support. You can also count on me to be there in the future if problems resurface or new issues arise.
When working with more than one client, such as a couple or family, I'm working with the relationship between you, not blaming one person for the issues. You'll find this to be a refreshing approach to helping you have a healthier relationship and happier life.
Call me to talk about your issues and the ways in which I can support your goal to become the healthiest version of you!
