Tim Van Rheenen, MA, LMFT
About Tim Van Rheenen
I received my B.A. in Psychology from Roanoke College and my M.A. in Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Washington and Pennsylvania. I've pursued advanced training in working with sexual issues and am certified as a Sexual Recovery Therapist (SRT) through the American Association of Sex Addiction Therapy. I also have advanced training in an approach called Lifespan Integration that is helpful for treating trauma, as well as anxiety and depression. Change happens in relationship, so I work with the counseling relationship as it unfolds in the moment. I strive to listen well and to foster an environment where we can be honest with one another, and I want to empower you to try new ways of interacting that will help you unravel your current beliefs and expectations that are holding you back.
