About Alan Ivicic
Establishing trust is a requirement for therapy to be helpful to you. You are making an important choice reaching out for help. I value providing a non-judgmental, inclusive, and affirmative space for people to process their difficulties at their own pace. Your self-determination is important. You are able to change your situation and it is my role as a therapist to help you develop that ability.
I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which are effective to treat many mental health issues including anxiety, panic, depression, and PTSD. I have 13 years of experience as a social worker with a background helping those with trauma histories and struggling with life transitions.
Our work in therapy sessions is to increase your ability to cope with the stressors of daily life, identify your strengths, and improve your confidence tackling challenges.
I am an in-network provider for United Healthcare, Oxford, and Oscar. I use a service to handle all of the insurance billing and scheduling.
Feel free to get in touch to learn if my approach is the right fit for you. I offer a complimentary phone consultation.
