Rachel Williams, AMFT
About Rachel Williams
I am a compassionate and collaborative psychotherapist who supports my clients in uncovering their innate resilience and capacity for healing. In our time together, we will work towards deepening your self-knowledge and self-awareness, letting go of old patterns that no longer serve you, developing healthy communication and coping skills, strengthening your relationships, and aligning your choices with your values and inner truth. I firmly believe in every person's ability to change and heal. Together, we will work to grow your toolbox so you can live a fuller, more meaningful life.
I offer therapy sessions for adult individuals, couples, and teens. Areas of specialty include women in life transitions, interracial couples, relational trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-criticism. As a biracial, multicultural therapist, I enjoy working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, and ethnicities.
My approach is holistic, and I draw upon a variety of research-based psychotherapy techniques including Self-Compassion, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. Please contact me for a free 20 minute phone consultation.
